warmth

Warm data (lived experience, specific stories, contextual relationships) as the load-bearing human contribution to any work AI touches.

Warm data is what gets stripped out when you reduce a thing to information: the context, the relationships, the felt sense. Nora Bateson named it. AI made it urgent, because these tools generate from the cold center of everything ever written, and warmth is the contribution that can’t come from the machine.

Every practice on this bench is a form of this idea. The rest of it is still in the ground.
