A small studio for warm practices with cold tools.
seedbed is a one-person studio that lays ground.
That's the honest through-line in work that otherwise looks scattered: software for field service crews and for people trying to find each other in the same city. A small in-person gathering in the Bay Area where the design object is the container itself, not the content. Documents whose whole job is to be the thing everything else grows from. Different materials, same move: prepare the surface, get the conditions right, let the growing do itself.
A lot of that preparation, lately, is for working with AI. These tools generate from the cold center of everything ever written; the warmth (the specific story, the felt sense, the person on her third Diet Coke) has to come from somewhere, and that somewhere is a person. Most of what's on this bench is practices for bringing it.
This is a workshop, not a portfolio. Things here are half-done on purpose. If something's useful, take it. If you want to talk: desk@seedbed.studio.
